Aaron Polson: Occasional Scraps

Like I need another place to talk about weird crap.

Best Horror Honorable Mentions

Three of my wee tales made Ellen Datlow’s honorable mention list for 2011:

Polson, Aaron “Molting Season,” Polluto 7.
Polson, Aaron “Ngiri’s Catch,” Historical Lovecraft.
Polson, Aaron “Wanting It,” Shock Totem #3.

For the whole lot, check Ms. Datlow’s blog.

Not surprisingly, Loathsome, Dark & Deep is so well written that it exquisitely captures the dark undertones of Victorian Era horror and adds a good bit of steam punk technology for good measure.

Polson’s We Are the Monsters is a quick and engaging read. The novella makes the reader think about truth, lies, and regrets while gripping the reader with an eerie sense of ghosts and monsters.
